TO ALL 2012 USA NATS FLIERS who are FUN-SEEKERS !
Announcing the 7th 'BEAT THE VARTANIAN' AMAZING FUN FLY for 12 inch span Catapult Gliders!
It likely will be held on Tuesday evening, 7 August, after the daily awards ceremony.
We aim to start soon after 6:00 PM, weather permitting.
Entry is FREE!!!
We still call it: "BEAT THE VARTANIAN", so all you Cats out there in FF land
come sign up EARLY with me, anytime you track me down.
Now for the EASY RULES:
Any 12" span cat glider, weighing 10 grams min.
Launcher per AMA CLG rules[6" handle, 18" rubber, etc]
Flying will be MASS LAUNCH STYLE in eliminator heats.
If any fliers in a heat score 120 sec, they will advance to next heat.
Time one, fly one, as usual!
So build a few little CLG rockets, they are easy!
Loaners may be available, as BOM rule is passe.
So bring your stopwatches & join the FUN!
You might even win 'Luddite Dan' Berry's nice perpetual trophy which is
awarded to each years 'Beat the Vart' winner.
Other prizes are in the offing, I am told by a close, personal friend.
