Charlie Jones 3rd In F1B

Charlie Jones from Avon Lake, Ohio just won the Bronze Medal in the 2nd F1B/Wakefield fly-off at the World Champs in Croatia. M. Nishizawa, Japan won and T. Hribar, Slovenia was 2nd.

Big congratulations to Charlie for a super job at the 2009 World Championships!!!

Dick Mathis came in 5th in F1C, and reigning World JUNIOR Champ (F1P)Cody Secor a superb 12th.

Pete Watson (GB) and Leonid Fuseev (Rus) to slug it out for top spot tomorrow at 0600hrs - 10 minute max, presumably. Memories of '93 (Watson/Archer).

Japan take top team with no-one in the fly-off!
