I have a Walston tracker setup, and I wish I could carry it with me when I chase on the bike. I have a little pack on the front handle bars that has room for a small pair of binoculars, and the Walston receiver.

The antenna is the challenge. I have the “scabbard” but am befuddled as to how to attach it to the bike such that it is protected, but available for tracking.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Dean,
I use two small bungees and strap it to the front side of the handlebars. My Walston is the folding type. The break down version in the bag straps even neater.

I also use a fanny pack where the front number plate would go. It’s a 2 bottle. I put a bottle of water in one side, Walston rx on the other side. 10X50 binos in the center and an FRS radio. I leave the FRS on so my timer can yell at me if I’m following the wrong plane!

    Just remembered –

Dave Parsons has a really cool idea. He wears a helmet and the antenna is mounted on top!
