The NFFS Plan Service has it. It is named “Vol Libre 8” and is plan number 80. Nice flying model. Good luck with it!

I was searching using “Twin Fin Wakefield” and could not find anything. I like the name, French for Free Flight.
EdThe model Bob White actually used for his 1987 WC win was his No. 22 F1B. A small three-view drawn by Craig Cusack appeared in SCAT sometime back then. Full size plans based on this three-view are available from Jim O’Reilly Plan Service. The primary differences between this version and the earlier mid-seventies version Bill referenced are a lower wing aspect ratio, PGI trim set-up, a lower pylon and a small ventral fin on the No. 22 model.

I seem to recall seeing it somewhere other than SCATTER.

Yes, it was also published in the 1988 NFFS Sympo, Dec. 1987 Model Aviation, and Jan. 1988 Aeromodeller. There is rarely a Muncie Contest I attend that I don’t swing through the AMA Museum and stop to admire the No. 22 model hanging there. Over a year ago I built a 30 gram version of this model from the O’Reilly plans, but have yet to cover it. Anyone planning to build it be prepared it spend a lot of time over the building board on the wings! About 5 years or so ago I read on Scatter that Bob was testing model No. 26 on 30 grams of rubber. Do any of his former clubmates know what the differences were between No. 22 and 26?
