With deep regret, I pass on the sad news that one of the best rubber flyers ever, Bob White, has passed away.
Anyone who was fortunate enough to compete against him or even watch him fly would marvel at his models’ performance. Straight-up climbs and never a power stall.

I received the following comment regarding Bob White’s wishes from friends in California:
“It is the wish of both Bob and Jean that there will be no funeral or
memorial. Jean said any donations made in Bob’s name should go to the
JR WORLD TEAM.”Bob is one of the legends that I always read about and when I finally meet him I was in awe. When in the museum at AMA I always make a trip over to view his F1B design that won the World Championship. Love the design. He will be missed.
