    I was at a meeting this year where someone said that a lot of energy was lost by braiding a motor.My question is:which of these 2 methods is best;
    Say 30 g motor in a Senator.
    Make up 8 strands 150% length between prop and rear peg and braid to 100%
    or
    More strands,say 12, of 100% length from prop to rear peg.

    With both bunching is eliminated or at least reduced.

    I am thinking that maybe all that braiding does is create the effect of more strands.

    I don’t braid a 30gm Senator motor – no bunch problems
