My first gas jobs in nearly 20 years. These and the wings and stabs for Lindstrum’s Chicagolander, a Dixielander variant. I built one of these when it was first published and flew it on a Cox .15 Medalian on a pen blatter. Later founs a couple Mk II’s and it really came to life. It dod well with the Medalian, but the Mk II was what it really needed. Anyway, I decided these would be a good ship to get into Classic Power with and since I’m geeked on gas again with that event, here I go!!

Hey, where can I get bladders or pacifiers, Lee Campbell doesn’t list binkies that I could find.

Well, we have another one back to the “semi dark side”- now if it had bunt ….

I just use thin wall surgical tubing. This is relately high pressure tho and you must check it if you are using a pinchoff timer…

I like the pen bladder a lot. It isn’t affected by fuel. I’ve had the same one in a Spacer for over 2 years, maybe 3 , who keeps track? It does have less pressure than latex, which is feature that I like.

The surgical tubing bladders work very well. The materials are readily available and inexpensive.

There are two sites I know of with how-to’s.

    Helpful hints

The tubing and Luer lock syringe tips are available from:

For syringes, I have had very good luck with the Monoject brand – try a vet supply. The BD brand doesn’t hold up as well.
