Okay here is a new topic for the carbon composite gurus out there in
    buiulding board city.

What weights and weaves are being deployed in taco shells for f1c and
f1a?? As well as this request is there anyone out there that builds his own F1c models complete from scratch? Also where are the fuselodges(sp?)
for fic and f1a to be had here in the states booms and tailbooms.
Also who are the cyclone distributors here in usa? Just one other thing and that is what about the sources of electronic timers for f1cd and f1a? Please respond all good information is happily received and appreciated.
    Cheers , Clay Parker

I use two layers of 93gsm or 83gsm carbon cloth (plain weave) for F1A d-boxes. The difference in the cloth weights is down to the number of threads per inch with the 93gsm giving a better surface finish albeit at a heaivier weight. I use the same layup in the centres and tips.

A number of fliers here in the UK build models from scratch, including F1Cs.
