Hi all,
Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of where the CG would sit on a Vasi FiJ wing?
Also, what incidence would the wing sit at (relative to thrustline)?

We have run it at about 50%…As far as incidence, I seem to remember that it has the standard 2 degrees. Power setting is approximately minus 1 degree, with glide at whatever it wants. We run the engine at 0-0, but I know that some folks with J models have a degree or two of down. Also, with this setup, the model does not want a truly vertical launch. Maybe some down would allow that to happen. If the model is launched vertically, it will go too vertical at the end. My son (who probably has a couple of hundred launches on Vasily models) will lower the launch as the wind speed increases. Don’t ask me how much, but I know that he lowers it some…
