Does anyone have any drawings of engine test stands they might
like to share. Prefer test stands for 1/2 A’s. Perhaps someone else
may like to see some also.

    Thanks..Craig

If (and that is a BIG if…) you are only going to be running one type of engine (same mounting system) I have found that just a hunk of 1/4″ thick aluminum (1 1/2″ to 2″ wide and maybe a foot long) cut to accept the mounting pattern of the engine works great. Take a board and C clamp it to a saw horse and then dry wall screw the plate to the board- Plenty of holding power.

But, if you are doing a wide variety of engines, then a more universal style is neded. There are a few available (don’t ask me where, but maybe Tower has them) and they have a rigid vertical member with a pin and screw and a moveable post that also has the pin and screw. Maybe I can do a simple drawing of this style.
