    Mr Mikefur,

    I’m struggling to get decent photos of the inside of my box but perhaps the two below will help you. Vertical spine has tabs on the bottom to fit in to slots in boards fitted in recesses in the box. Either end of the spine is similarly supported in a manner than gives some compliance.

    Just built and tested the top design (above) and it launches at a low angle. I don’t run fast anymore and it lands 2 feet away.
    Is there a design that launches the model at a 45 degree angle?
