I just finished an F1A, my first in over 30 years. Foam wings, laminated balsa/spruce fuselage. I wasn’t too careful with wood selection as the total weight is 1 ounce over the minimum. I think I made the nose too short. That required a bit more ballast. It can be used for circle, zoom or straight tow by adjusting release and fin. I still have the question about AR release line. Does it count as part of the tow line? There is a reason for the legitimate question.

Unless the rules have changed since I last flew gliders a few years back, the auto rudder line is not part of the towline length. I would love to see a photo of your new glider!
