    I heard today that George Xenakis passed away. He was one of the greats in our sport and a true gentleman. His innovative models and trimming abilities set him apart from most. He was always generous with his time and advice. I know I’m not alone in saying he will be missed.

    Not being a rubber band guy, I still seem to remember a model that was a low winged wakefield. His thermal sniffer (which you have a style of Bill) was pretty unique for its time- it showed that thermals are somewhat cyclic….So RIP….
