Has anyone experience with the Jett “BSE Signature” engines? Most appear to be designed for RC pylon racing but he advertises a .25 and a .30 with standard venturi and no throttle. I’m curious how they would compare to the mills being used now for AMA gas.

I just ordered a Jett .67 for D Gas. He will re-time it for Free Flight and fit a plain venturi. His production engines are pipe timed, but he doesn’t mind re-timing them if he knows what you are using it for.

I understand from rc (never capitalize) pylon racers that his engines hold up very well.

It will be awhile. I still have a Super Pearl to finish, and some damaged stuff to repair…after I finally unpack from moving. 🙁

    Dub’s engines are animals.
i ran the BSE 50 in what was suppose to be a sport model during my travels to the Darkside the last couple years, and the thing was flawless. workmanship is second to none and he’ll not allow you to keep an engine he is not proud of.
my 56LX which was his newest hotrod 40 size was a cast case. when i received it, the case had a super tiny hole under one mounting lug that oil was coming out of, and even though it would have been closed off when mounted, Dub demanded it back to be replaced.
    he’s a perfectionist.
the engines do weigh on the heavy side for the smaller classes though.

i too am interested in the performance of the .67 when you get it Dean.
