I am currently building an Easy-Built Jimmie Allen Blue Flash Racer and I notice that on the plans there doesn’t seem to be any change in incidence between the wing and tail (both mounting surfaces are parallel.) Or is there an actual difference because of the wing airfoil and its angle of attack and the flat surface of stab? Hopefully I haven’t written this too confusingly…

Should I add negative incidence to the stab or just build per plans?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Why don’t you use an incidence meter and know what you have? Shim the wing or tail to get about 2-1/2 to 3 degrees positive decalage and go fly. Build a Schmidt balsa incidence meter and have it around for the future. Scott’s corner use to have the plans for easy download. Or Google?
