Here’s the scoop:
– July 6th through July 10th (that’s a Friday through Tuesday)
– $200 per person, 5 days + a table and chairs ($125 per Junior)
Andrew sent some pictures that I will scan and post shortly. The windows at the
ends allow lots of natural light, but they are insulated with translucent foam
and block most of the heat. So, it should be bright with hopefully minimal
The giant center scoreboard has been replaced with a tiny flat panel display
that can be hoisted very close to the ceiling. You are more likely to hang up
on one of the ceiling tile than the new scoreboard.
The speaker clusters will be removed and the cables stowed. Nothing to hit
Larry Coslick has been spearheading a fundraising effort to make sure there is a
decent slush fund to cover any shortfall.
I’d like to see enough participants to make Kibbie self-sustaining on an ongoing
basis, so we don’t need to touch the slush fund. This is one of our best
venues, and we should make it as permanent as possible.
So, here’s what we need to do: Andrew needs to know if enough people are
interested, at the proposed cost, to make this work. We need about 40+, and we have about a week to
get him an answer in time to reserve the date with the University.

of anyone who is not on the list, but would be interested, send me an email and
