Muncie Nats RV Camping

Gin and I are thinking about driving the RV to Muncie for the FF Nats. AMA site says spaces are first come first served. Is there a problem getting an electricity only site for the week? How about the full hook-up spots?

We have camped at Muncie for the last 10 years and never have had a problem getting an electric site, The only time I saw it full was during the AMA 75th anniversary celebration several years ago.

That’s great to hear you are coming to the NATS. As Ed said, getting a site with electricity is rarely a problem. Getting a site with full hook will be a bigger challenge as there are only a handful of them. But everything you need is right there. Bath house and dump station is on the field, and water to refill the tanks.

Hi Norm,

So it’s a go then, to the Nats. I won’t be staying at the camp ground this year. I’m car pooling with Tom Ioerger and will be sharing a motel room with my brother Marty. Like Charlie said, no problem getting a electric hook up site. Just pick one then go to the AMA office and pay. The
dump station is just a hundred yards or so away. I always enjoyed staying on the field as I’m sure you will too. I’ll look you up when I arrive.
