I am looking for the Norvel/AME plugs for the .049 engines. The Norvel website seems to be disfunctional, and other suppliers like SIG and Penn Valley Hobby Center seem to be out of stock. 🙁

    Hello Dean

How many plugs do you need?

I will check here in Minneapolis to see what is in stock. They carried Norvel engines and replacement parts.

    Hi Dean

Have you considered Cox TD 049 or the new clone version now available as an alternative? or convert to a Nelson plug and insert from Doug Galbreath? This last alternative adds about another 1000 rpm to the engine and almost indestructable.

I got the conversion head also.
    It was not very expensive.
Nelson plugs are readily available, cheaper. and last longer.
    Cheers!

I have the Nelson head for the Cox engines. I located me some Norvel plugs enough for my needs now. Will probably go with the Nelsons in the future though. Thanques all. 🙂
