There was quite a useful discussion on P-30’s before our beloved hacker managed to trash the Forum (Always Capitalize).

It covered a wide range of subjects.

I am interested in knowing the use of differing rubber cross sections and motor lengths.

The debate “stretches” ๐Ÿ˜€ between “cruisers” with about 3 loops of 1/8 inch to “climbers” with twice that many, and more. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I am finishing a Majestyk and have modified the fuselage for a variety of locations for the rear peg, and also provided for the wing to be slid forward to hold the CG constant. It will be a bit over-weight, but I am using it for my own “education, edification, and profit” ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanques in advance for what I hope will be a flood of responses and lively debate.

    l use 4 strands of 1/8th on mine—lots of turns—it’s a cruiser.

Mostly max’s out to make the fly off—but not won it yet, the hi-climbers beat me everytime.

Good plan to experment though—good luck—let’s know results please.
