I have a great McCoy .19 that I want to use on a Texan for A NosGas. Can anyone recommend a good prop size to start with? I have a lot of Rev-Up 9/4 and 9/5 left. Also some Power Props and wood Tornados of the same size. Is this the a good place to start?

    Thanks, Roger

    Hi Roger

I would come down in diameter and pitch to something like an 8″ x 4″ or 8″ x 3.75″ (wood Rev-up or Zinger if you can find them).

Thanks! I have a few of those left, also. Don’t know where I’ll ever get a prop like that again, though. 😥

8×4 APC would be good. Or you could cut 1/2in off each side of a 9×4, balance it well, and give it a go.

May save you buying new props. 🙂
