After more than 30 plus years away from FF (circle track racing)I have some questions. I like towline. What us a bunt? I did circle and zoom launch back then. Now just straight tow and zoom. How strong zoom? Is classic just straight tow? What about towline in Cat 2 and Cat 3? Special local rules (Texas)? Current Designs? Span, airfoils? All help will be appreciated. New question: Is the length of the auto rudder release line considered part of the towline length? What if the AR release line is several feet long? Long AR release line could delay AR function by tenths of a second after towline release.
