Ken Bauer may be the only US source…IMO.

    Go to his website: http://mysite.verizon.net/resrqa3z/airtek/index.html

You will find all his info there, including Remote DT system.

That looks good, but does anyone know the prices of listed items?
    They seemed to be missing.
    Is this a US source?
I value that, for service and warranty reasons, obviously.

I got email from Massimo Ursicino, who runs the ffelectronics company
    in Italy.
I have used his trackers in the past.

Do you know if you have to keep track of the frequency that other flyers are using on the field when you are flying. Is there any chance of bringing down another contestants model when using the RC DT?

    Dennis,

The following is copied from Ken Bauer’s website:
    http://mysite.verizon.net/resrqa3z/airtek/id65.html

    “Basic System Specs
    – Radio Frequency: 902 – 928 MHz IMS license free band. Each system is preset to a unique channel
within this band and also is programmed with a unique digital code.
    – Range: 5 km or more line of sight typical, but varies with installation and conditions.
    – Response time: up to 1 second delay from transmitter activation to DT.
    – Compatible with all Red Magic (RMT, RMT2) and Smart Magic (SMT) timers.”

So you see there is a insignificant chance of interference.

I recommend Ken’s products and suggest you read his info carefully.

Craig, please refer to the post immediately above yours.
All the Bauer RDT info you need is there.
Also: RDT = REMOTE DT, NOT ‘RADIO’ DT. [That is the universal Ken Bauer definition]
