    Attached please find a pic. of my new R-rod 250 prior to finishing. Covering will be polyspan with red and black accents. This is to re-place last one of 6 years. It was re-kitted at the last Nats. due to pilot error!#$%^&* Should be ready for trimming in a week. Will post pics. of finished project when complete.

    Looks great Scott! What will you use for power? Oh, yes…did you put in 1/16 stab upsweep?

    Steve, it’s an old Lee Campbell’s kit. Lee, pwr. is Cox Medallion that’s won 2 of the last 5 Nat’s and placed in the top five in two of the others. Lee as far as the stab up sweep I put 1/32″ like the plans called for. This is what I’ve had in my past two 1/2 A’s and they’ve flown great. My other Nos. planes are Ramrods for A & B, I really like them!!!

    It’s still looks perfectly fine in the photo Hank, so I would think it’s good for another 10 years of winning!
    Why retire it?

    Attached are the finished photos of the R-rod 250! Took it out for it’s initial flights at the Atlanta clubs get together last month and a wonderful thing happened!!!! It flew right from the start, love these R-rods.

    Takes one heck of a bird to out glide a Ram Rod.Looks good.
