Check out: http://www.jackite.com and click on poles

I purchased a very good 31′ pole for $59.95 and $9.00 shipping; arrived at delivery address less than 48 hours after I ordered on line. Virginia Beach to New Jersey; I was impressed.

I chose orange instead of black – easier to see up in the foliage. The telescopic segments slide out and lock with a twist and the outer thin sections have relatively thicker walls – stiff, and much more useful than the flimsy tip of my old 20′ roach pole. Weight is reasonable and the pole could be used for some extended time without becoming a strain.

    Thanks for the useful information!
I’m going to pick one up myself.

The Minneapolis Model Aero Club purchased a 40 foot pole that collapses to about 52 “. It has a claw foot on the upper end. Works great.

Really a heavy duty unit, but it really works great. We brought it to the NATS to share with the unfortunates.

Oops – I goofed on the price of the Jackite pole; it’s cheaper.

    $54.95
