Rubber storage

    Question:
    I saw a note somewhere that storing rubber in the (likely) cardboard shipping boxes it was originally delivered in was not a god idea because of the acids and other chemicals used in the manufacture of the cardboard.
    Any comments?
    does anyone have any real data?
