    There are a number of Free Flight Rules Change Proposals currently pending. These range from eliminating BOM to going back to the old Power engine displacement classes. They can be viewed here:

    These are important. Too often, Contest Board members are told after the fact that folks in their district wanted a different vote than was cast. If you have opinions regarding any or all of these proposals, it is incumbent on you to make your district board member aware before the deadline. Initial votes on these are scheduled for November 31, 2007.

    Does anyone know the outcome of the rules change proposals?

    The only one that didn’t pass the initial vote stage was the one that eliminated the number of models allowed. The proposal number is FF 09-2.
    The rest move on to the next stage. Again, if you have comments on these, it is important you pass them on to your Contest Board representative.
