Just finished my Satellite E36. Red Max motor, Starlink timer, 12A ESC. Flying weight 151 grams. Thanks to
Jim Jennings Sr and Jr for all their help. I drew the plans from a magazine 3 view.

Ed Very clean look. Let us know how it flies. BMJR just announced a E-36 Satellite and Starduster kits. The Satellite has a rear rudder. The first person to built a electric Satellite was Tony Naccarto Jr. He converted a Series 57 Satellite 1300 to electric power, many years ago. It was hanging up in T/A Hobbies for years.

Ed, looks great! E36 looks to be the up and coming event to fly! We’ll be chasing E36’s all day. What was the KVA on the Red Max motor you’re using?

Here’s another one flown by my mate Ray for the past couple of years. It needed some noseweight so latterly I gave him a hotter 2208 2600kV motor (with APC 7×4) and it has an incredible climb.

Scott, the Red Max is a C20-2500 from Texas Timers. I am thinking APC 6×4 thin electric prop.

Ed, that prop is what I’ve been flying on my E36 for the past couple of years and it’s performance is wonderful!!! You may want to try a 6 x 5.5 also! Are you and your wife going to make it to K.O. this year?

    Scott,
We are not planning on going to the KOI this year, we’ve been there in the past, good flying site and well run contest.
