Hello Fellow Forum Flyers,
Please checkout photos of my new A Nostalgia Dixielander Model. I enlarged the Yeomen plans to about 450 sq in. Power is by Mattes Improved OS19. Test gliding in the snow is not recommended.
at 450 sq in, that nice looking plane should be a BOMB! I’d like to see that one fly. Will you be attending the Nats in Muncie this year?
Nice work!At last! A serious Nos-Gas plane here in the east. Will we see you at the turf farm or even on the cape? By the way, what prop are you using and what RPM did Bob find on his post op test?
Thanks dohrmc, Yes my father and I will be at the nats. Hope to see you there. Steve, I am using an APC 8-4. Bob Mattes ran the motor on 10% at 17770. I have been running it with 40% I I havent’ tached it yet. The Motor seems to be noticabaly fast and powerful. Look forward to seeing you at the field. Rich Ivers Jr.
