I hope this came thru….So now you can have a Verbitsky folder…Add a Hummer for $750 or so and go have FAI fun….
Looks like a Babanko folder. Archer and Carroll bought one after Sierra Cup. Carroll reports the flex hinge for the end panel has delaminated on his– he has not yet flown it.
Us F1A types have discussed foldered- short discussion due to the min / max rule prevents such things.
I’m surprized the usual “Let’s out law new performance” has not started.

Ya know, at first I thought the same, let’s just outlaw it and get back to normal. However, the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. I am thinking of building a 1/2A version, just to try it. However, the amount of work to do that is pretty high.
I heard a rumor that some of the FAI guys on your side of the world watched it fly and said that it just obsoleted everything else. Now that owuld be bad, as we now have 5 models almost ready to go and would hope that we would be somewhat competitive!
So, will have to see how excited I get and if I do build one…
