    Can any of you assist me in the performance difference of the X series engines vs. the G20 and G21’s?

    Probably faster and probably heavier.

    The X series are Schnuerle-ported engines while the G20 and G21 are loop-scavanged. The X Series will turn up about 20% more RPM and give an equal increase in HP. Weights are about the same.

    Thanks for the input guys. I’ve got a new X21 that I’m trying to figure out what plane to build for it.
