G’day All,
Things are going well with the building of the Swiss Miss and in the near future,all going well,I’ll be at the stage to purchase and install the radio gear..I’ve been looking around for receivers servos etc..and the Tower Pro SG 90 servo (9 gms ) keeps appearing….
Would any one have an opinion on these ??? They can be bought on e-bay for about AUD$11…this seems like good value.. IF.. they are are good product..Any comments please.
The Swiss Miss is a 60″ freelight plane from a 1954 design..

You may have noticed that your question has drawn a negative response and can I suggest that you may have better luck if you could contact some one in the Australian Oldtimer movement like SAM 1788 in Sydney or the Vintagents in Brisbane who can possibly answer your questions.
Given that this is a Free Flight model (no radio control) forum the chances of your questions being answered are fairly remote. This is not a slight on this forum’s part, just out of our sphere of interest.
May you have lots of success with your model.

Have heard ‘on the grapevine’ that weedie’s mentor, near where he lives had gone to ‘the dark side’. J.F. should be able to give you a clue too.
Thanks to Pelaero and Gos for your replies…….I was wondering why there was no response…now I think I know why..I’m under the impression that Freeflight encompasses Radio….but I’m beginning to understand that in these pages,Freeflight means just that…So…….sorry if I’ve annoyed anyone here……I’ll plead newcomers ignorance !!!…..
So Gos…..my mentor on the dark side eh !…i’ll drill him about that when I see him tomorrow…..actually he could have gone a shade darker than dark………he was in Sydney on the weekend flying control line !!
Anyways….I’m really enjoying building the Miss and am very glad to have someone to help me. I hope I can one day,repay the favour to J.F. …
