TD 049 head shims?

    Does anyone know a source for head shims for TD’s .049 & .051’s? My local hobby shop doesn’t carry them.

    I alawys thought they came with a new glow head. One each.

    A friend of ours turned up a set of dies on his lathe. He’d stamp them out of sheet brass. That was 30 years ago. I suppose they could be hand-made.

    Hi Dennis,
    If the head shims are the same as plug gaskets, I have a few extras – how many do you need?

    I can get more from Dale Kirn next time I see him.

    Hope to see all you guys at the Nats this summer!
