I am interested in learning about sizing transition strips, width and height relative to boundary layer thickness. I have recently designed a towline glider that flies at very low RN. The airfoils I have chosen and designed require a transition strip at 8% chord (wing) and 2% chord (stab) for best performance, theoretically. I have knowdedge of the boundary layer thickness without and with forced transition. If anyone can help, this would be great!
