๐Ÿ˜• Whilst browsing Flea-Bay I came across an add for a “Jon Valentine’s Cox Turbo Hyper Speed .049 Cylinder Head.” Has onyone heard of this ? If so what kind of a glo-plug am I looking for??? 8)

Its a Turbo Plug. The rc Car guys use them. It seats itself without a gasket, much like a Nelson plug. Cleaner combustion chamber is the target. Get your billfold out if you’re gonna run ’em.

As Dan mentioned, they are expensive. I tried one and no power gain over the Galbreath head with Nelson plug. The heads are 10 bucks and the plugs are from $4 to $5. The turbos cost usually twice as much, nearly what the Galbreath head costs. The Valentine heads also seem to be expensive. ๐Ÿ™

The Galbreath/Nelson is best for cost, and power as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ˜• Amen on the cost—I am using Galbreath Heads and Nelson Plugs on my Norvel Big Mig .049’s—and they do a great job with a real great engine. I will try the Galbreath head for this sole COX I own and see wha’ happens—Thanks 8)
