Check it out in the photo attached. The rear shaft is a hardened steel, 2.00 mm dia. drill blank…. fits the LPS bearings perfect. Shaft goes way up inside alum. sleeve. The assembly will not bend. Front sleeve is aluminum; made by Bob Hatchek to my drawings. Bob’s unimat does not quite give the runout precision I would like. Does anyone have turning equipment, and would be willing to make a few of the aluminum sleeves? I will supply drawings and all needed tools.
