Maybe You can help me? I noticed in the revised nostalgia eligible designs list, the Veco Comanche from 52′ but I don’t see it in the catalog. Will it be listed in the future? Anyone have a kit? Can You point me in the right direction? It was the first model my older brother built, and the first model I ever chased (at the age of three) I’ve been hooked ever since. When I was a teenager I re-covered the model, threw in a Pee-Wee and an eyedropper and between me and the other kids in the club it had thousands of flights. Unfortunately, due to my own stupidity (no fuse) the model was lost in a boomer. More than 25 years have past, now my brother asked “Whatever happened to that old Comanche?” I plan on building him one as a Christmas present and then telling him. 😳

Kits of the Comanche show up on Ebay from time to time listed under Free Flight controlline. The plans are available from the AMA plans service, http://www.modelaircraft.org, plan # 10759 cost $8.00. Good Luck, Glenn
If you are still interested, there is a Veco Commanche kit currently listed on Ebay. Item #190269701691. The lister misspelled Veco as Vesco. I found it listed under the search heading of “Balsa”. Thermals, Glenn
