We have heard rumors of new rules for Vintage FAI for 2010. Does anyone have the official word on the final draft? The old rules are in this forum so the new ones should be too or in the NFFS web site some where so we who fly the event can get started revising the old planes or building new. Thermals, Glenn
The new rules are on this website. Go to the home page and click on competitions. Then click on FF Rules. Read down the list to Vintage FAI Power. Click and it will be revealed.
If you received your December 2009 NFFS digest, you can see Phil Sullivan’s comments about the 2010 NATS will include a provisional FAI power event. Then I received the NATS entry forms with no mention of it.
But I understand that the event will be held on Friday, so let’s see if we can’t get more entries in this event than F1C!
Looking forward to this new event! (Like I need another event to fly at the NATS)
