I know this was written elsewhere, but just thought I would put it here….Walt and I worked together on the Digest (or should I say he worked and I just contributed a very little amount) and he always seemed to have time to talk with me…..Best of friends? Nope, too much distance and not enough time together. But a guy that I had alot of respect for to do the job he said he would do- Editing the Digest….

So, another friend gone….Farewell and Godspeed…..

Very sad news indeed. I first met Walt in the early 60’s when he and George Perryman would come up to Huntsville from Atlanta to fly in or meets at the old airport. Walt helped me trim my Sparks electric at this past NATS, a great guy, I always looked forward to seeing and talking with him. He will be missed.
