The SCAT links don’t work anymore.
Does anyone have a SCAT link that works now??
They are re-doing the site.
scat-online.com is the new address, although not much is up and running.
The site is under construction, is the newsletter still getting out?
I haven’t seen one since the APR 2 message where we were asked to “resubscribe”.I’ve also resubscribed at the website, still no mail.
I’ve set a filter to take anything from scat that might be considered spam and place it in my inbox, still nothing.Has anyone gotten a newsletter since the change?

After sending Bill a note, I went back and looked again at the link provided by CHE. I’d been there before and not seen the messages. I couldn’t figure why he would send me there again. Well, they didn’t continue the list by adding the latest messages to the TOP of the list, they have been added at the BOTTOM!!! OK, now I can read the ones I’ve missed. Strange that the history list has an origin at the middle of the page and extends boh UP and DOWN!
Bigger question is why haven’t I been receiving them, as I specified that I wanted to stay subscribed at the time of changeover and have resubscribed since? All other mail “newsletters” that I get are still coming through my Comcast provider.

Yes, the messages get posted at the top and bottom of the list. I understand the difference is caused if Roger is at home or away on business when he submits another message.
Can’t answer the subscription question as I always look at the website. E-mail can be unreliable at times.

I received two emails from the new scat-online yesterday.
A local friend told me that he received eight. The old version was terrible, text only, but it got here everytime!So, what’s wrong with text only.It seems to work well.
It uses a minimum of resources, and it’s reliable.
I point out too that it is also free, so what basis do you have to criticise?
Personally, I consider it a valuable service that Roger provides essentially at his own expense in both time and money.

I haven’t been receiving posts since the change and was wondering if others were getting them while at the same time trying to find out why.I’m certainly no expert but the internet has changed/expanded over the years and most all text services that I’ve been subscribed to have been replaced with other means of communication that allow a few nice things, like pictures, automatic hyperlinking and passing of attachments[Thank You NFFS!]. I haven’t dialed up a BBS using a modem in a long time and I think text messaging will be left to cell phones.
Rogers doing the right thing. Certainly, as he gets to spend time on the site he’ll do a wonderful job and we’ll see the benefit of his work. I don’t want to miss any of the issues. What’s wrong with that?
