I just heard that Willard Smitz passed away after complications from an auto accident. I do not have any further information. Willard in recent years would attend various contests from Arizoniz to Muncie. He was a past FAI team member and he, in his many years of modeling, flew all events. In fact, at one FAI contest he and his wife flew all three events!
Willard will be missed by his many friends…
