2022 AmCup Final Report
Wow, 2022 behind us, the first 2023 AmCup contest is complete so time for me to wrap up 2022.
The last Am Cup contest of 2022 was rained out except the tough F1A flyers managed to get their rounds in before the down pour. This had no impact to the top five. Enes Pecenkovic , the 2021 F1A Am Cup winner, won which moved him up to 8th.

Congratulations for a great year of flying. In the great words of Bob Isaacson, “What have you done lately?” well, at the SWR at Eloy in January, Blake Jense won F1H and Faust Parker won F1J to start their plans to repeat.
We will, as we did last year, do the award presentation at Lost Hills at Fab Feb on Saturday, Feb 18th after the MaxMen F1A,B competition. We will gather at the RV corral to enjoy Mexican hors d’oeuvres. Bring your drink and a chair.
Reminder to the 2022 winners, engrave the plate and shine the cup and have it at the award ceremony on Feb 18th. F1A: Enes Pecenkovic, F1B: Jerry Fitch, F1J: Mike McKeever, F1Q: Ben Tarcher, F1E: Bob Sifleet [Tom Ioerger is bringing]
Repeat winners Faust and Jack need not bring the F1C/S trophy if they so choose. I’ve made arrangement for the F1H & P trophies for Mike Fedor.
2023 Am Cup
As I opened this message, the first contest is already complete. The contest list will be the same as 2022’s unless otherwise notified by the associated club or CD. The rules will remine the same as will. The AmCup fee of $30 remines the same as well.
