Sidus G2 F1C e-timer gets new enhanced safety firmware
Frominfo@ffelectronics.com
Hi Roger,
please publish the following note on SEN newsletter.
In order to comply with the new safety regulations that will come into force in 2025, the SidusG2 F1C e-timer has been equipped with new firmware.
Full details can be found at this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10_X53cadEWC-9LyI19K60UMDN_vyVt6K
All new SidusG2F1C e-timers currently produced come with firmware ready for 2025, while upgrading existing timers only requires a firmware update (the update will only be supported by red control boards with pins, hardware version V4.6 and V4.7).
For more information about the firmware upgrade, please send an e-mail to info@ffelectronics.com
Thanks
Massimo
Great news Massimo. At least one question for the 2025 Champs and World Cup contests is answered!
invisible CONTEST RESULTS
From: Aram Schlosberg
Large contests are typically announced on SEN, to attract long distance flyers.
Publishing results is another matter.
Some reports just publish the winner names. Others simply don’t post anything — such as the two Canadian World Cups in June and the more recent Patterson.
Posting at least the final score of ALL participants is a perfect advertisement for next year imho.
What Date
From Simple Sportsman
I got on my country’s Team for the 2025 World Champs but I cannot find the date the contest, can you tell me please. I need to book that time to take my holidays next year.
Simple
Dear Simple, Like you I am also just a simple sportsman. I must admit that I question a little the process of awarding the championships. Some places seem to get a lot of championships and do not seem to do a very good job. But then like you I’m just a simple sportsman. Maybe you should ask someone at your National Aero Club ?
