With big sadness I have to inform FF community and RC people that we lost few hours ago another modeler, great man, friend, teacher, musician, successful businessman, father and grandpa Don Zink, F1A ,CA ,USA.
Don had been in hospital for a short period and had just returned home to be with his family.
His family asked me to inform aeromodelling community about such sad news.
Don was very good man and very close friend to myself. I feel the same as I lost my parents years ago.

Editor’s Note: Don was a member of SCAT, Southern California Aero Team, former USA Team member in F1A and fierce competitor in F1A. He was generous man who helped people and causes from his daily life and in the modelling community. In recent years despite some medical issues he enjoyed getting to the field and flying with us. Don often said how much he appreciated the support that he got from his wife Shirley and the rest of his family and our sincere sympathies go out to them.
