Patterson Contest

Patterson shared the field with Dual Club under chilly mornings. Winds were variable thru out the contest. Lower turnout for Patterson than in previous years. Probably due to team finals and of course fuel prices.
Hot dog lunch was served both days with Dual Club ice cream social and Hamburger dinner.
A memorial was held for Lee Hines with about 60 attendees. Clint Brooks headed the ceremony with Tim Batiuk and others. Ron Hines, Lee’s brother from Yuma was also present and said a few words.
F1E is being flown today, Monday with results forthcoming
