2025 AmCup Schedule

I just finished the finally scoring for the 2024 Am Cup season and will be getting out the scores and report soon.
I needed to get this message out to correct and avoid any misunderstanding of the 2025 King Orange Invitation (KOI) January 7-9, 2025. The recent Sept- Oct NFFS Digest has a full back page spread for the 2025 KOI with it being an America’s Cup event which indeed it is, for 2025.
KOI was one of the original AmCup contests but several years ago the Florida Modelers Association (FMA) withdrew from the AmCup. Last month FMA requested to be included again, and SCAT approved. Some confusion has arisen due to the previous KOI’s were held at the very end of the year and often completed on the following January 1st or 2nd. KOI was the last AmCup contest in the year. The 2025 KOI will be early in the year now making it the first AmCup contest in the 2025 season.
All the 2024 AmCup contests will continue into 2025 with a 2025 version unless the CD- clubs inform me otherwise.
